1. Period plant reconstructions.

A listed industrial group commissioned a 38-year anniversary film. The single most powerful scene in the brief was the founding plant — which had been demolished in 2007 and never properly photographed for archive. A conventional period set build would have cost ₹6 lakhs and looked like a stage set. Neural-rendered reconstruction from the surviving 1988 engineering drawings cost ₹90,000 and looked like footage from the era. The boardroom watched it twice.

2. Machine-perspective sequences.

Industrial cinema increasingly wants the camera to do things a camera cannot do — inside a furnace, along a conveyor at the conveyor's speed, through a sealed pressure vessel during operation. Neural rendering does all of these. The sequences read as cinema rather than as graphics because the lighting study and motion are directed shot-by-shot.

3. Hazardous-process visualisations.

4. Future-state plant visualisations.

A client preparing for a ₹400-crore expansion needed a fundraising film that visualised the plant they would build, two years before construction started. Architectural renders look like architectural renders. Neural rendering, directed by the same DOP as the live-action portion of the film, looks continuous with the existing facility footage. Investors stopped asking how speculative the plant was.

5. Process-step explainers at human scale.

A precision-engineering client needed a sequence explaining a 0.05mm tolerance in a manufacturing step. Filming the actual process required dismantling a working line. Neural rendering, supervised by the engineering team for technical accuracy, ran continuously while the line stayed in production. The training-and-sales film shipped without disrupting throughput.

What it costs.

For commercial industrial work, expect ₹40,000 to ₹1.5 lakhs per hero sequence depending on duration, light study complexity, and the number of iteration rounds. That price stayed flat through 2025 and is dropping in 2026 as the underlying tooling matures.

What it cannot do — yet.

Two limits matter for industrial briefs. First, exact unit-level fidelity of a specific product or plant remains imperfect; you still want photographic plates composited in for the hero close-ups. Second, continuous shots over five seconds get harder to control.
